Who We Are
Our History
Police Officers from the City of Avondale, Arizona had a tradition of handing out Gatorade to in-need members of the community. In 2012, two long-time friends - one in law enforcement, one in insurance -partnered together to purchase a single case of Gatorade to hand out on a ride-a-long. Since then, with the support of corporate donors and individuals alike, Operation Rehydration has distributed tens of thousands of cold beverages to first responders and the community.
Our Mission
Operation Rehydration started with a simple mission in mind - to provide a cold beverage to law enforcement for the purpose of sharing with our community and first responders. By doing so, Operation Rehydration aims to foster positive interactions with law enforcement and enhance community partnerships. In 2019 we've expanded our mission to fulfilling hydration needs for ALL First Responders.
